Absolutely stunning antique powder compact mirror. Made a gilded 800 silver with abstract enameling and a miniature hand-painted portrait of an elegant woman. There is a signature on the right side of the painting but we’re not able to make it out. The back of the case and framing on the lid and painting feature are gilded and feature etched texturing. The inside of the compact features a framed mirror and powder tray with a fluffy pink puff. Marked 800 on the top inside rim and in good vintage condition with expected wear/discoloration.
