A dazzling antique 14k white gold filigree cameo brooch pendant. Featuring a classic relief shell carving of a lady's bust in an oval bezel setting and an ornate gold wireframe with engraved decorative accents. The back of the brooch has a horizontal safety fastener with a 19th-century c-clasp and a hinged swivel necklace loop at the top.
The clasp has been marked 14k and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. There is some discoloration of portions of the white gold, most notable in the corners and back, but the cameo remains finely detailed and striking. Overall in good vintage condition.
