An incredible figured burl wood bowl signed "George N. Geissler" and dated 1990. We were unable to find any information on George N. Geissler, but this piece is nonetheless stunning. The bowl is made from a single solid piece of wood and has been carved into a small vessel, not quite a bowl, but not quite a vase. The figured wood has beautiful ring/banding patterns in many colors and textures. The piece also exhibits a sleek polished finish. This piece utilizes natural "imperfections" in the wood to give it a truly unique and rustic look. In good vintage condition with some minor wear.
