An incredible figured birch vase designed by Al Parry. The vase is made from a single solid piece of wood, the shape of the vase itself is understated. It is rounded vase with a small opening, about 1" in diameter, at the very top. The figured wood has beautiful ring/banding patterns and a sleek polished finish. We're not sure of its exact age or who Al Parry was in the woodworking world, but nonetheless this piece exhibits great craftsmanship and skill in woodturning. This is a lovely piece which would feature well on a mantle or dining room table. In good vintage condition with a few minor imperfections.
