A gorgeous pair of modernist 14k gold slice amethyst and peridot gold drop earrings. Features two triangular yellow gold slices set with purple amethyst stone in the front and a peridot stone in the back. The longer peridot slice has a small tube on top that fits onto the post fixed to the amethyst slice and moves freely in a swivel motion. The earrings come with their original 14k pushbacks and hang comfortably and securely.
The gemstone settings have open backs so there are some scuff marks from the amethyst cutlet rubbing against the back gold slice, but we don't feel it takes away from the overall look and quality of the earrings. One of the front slices is always slightly warped wear it comes to the point at the bottom, but again we don't feel it's too noticeable. Earrings are not hallmarked but have been gold acid tested for authenticity. In overall in good vintage condition with described wear and minor discoloration.
