An exceptional handmade and signed Native American turquoise squash blossom necklace. Features a modernist turquoise Naja pendant and 10 turquoise squash blossoms set in solid sterling silver. The beautiful stone settings are strung along a double strand of Navajo pearls/beads that tapers into single strands with an interlocking hook and loop clasp. The natural green turquoise stones have a glistening finish and pop against the natural gray patina of the silver.
The back of the pendant is hallmarked 'Sterling' with the makers mark 'L. Begay'.There is some minor wear to some of the stones and and discoloration to the silver settings (mostly on the backs), but nothing of considerable not. Overall in wonderful vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
