An incredible men's ruby signet ring in 14k rose gold. The focal point of this piece boasts a gorgeous ruby red center stone in a round milgrain bezel setting. The ring has a flat top dome shape with a sleek polished finish. The ruby setting has a closed back but still catches the light quite nicely. Based on our assessment we believe the ruby to be genuine, but we are not gemstone experts.
Then inner band is hallmarked '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. The outer band is stamped with a 585 makers mark, but we're not able to determine the symbol or the identity of the maker. Based on the ring's design and hallmarks, we do believe this to be an older, potentially antique piece. There is some notable discoloration to portions of the inner band from use, and there is some minor wear to the gold facade, but overall the ring remains in excellent vintage condition.
