A breathtaking sapphire diamond halo teardrop pendant necklace in 14k yellow gold. Features a beautiful pear-cut blue sapphire prong-set in the center of a brilliant diamond frame with 13 round-cut stones. The back of the pendant setting has a lovely openwork design and a nice polished finish. The sparkling teardrop is suspended from a split yellow gold bail and comes with a dainty gold loose rope chain with a spring-ring clasp.
The sapphire and diamonds are genuine, most likely lab-grown, but we are not gemstone experts can cannot speak to their quality. The side of the pendant bail and chain clasp have been hallmarked '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. In very good vintage condition with minimal wear or discoloration.
