A lustrous pair of 18K yellow gold brutalist dangle earrings by Turkish jewelry designer 'URART'. These earrings were designed as an homage to the ornamental traditions of ancient Anatolian civilizations, most notably seen in the their complex hand-made flat woven rugs. Anatolian motifs usually features a symbolic shape or geometric pattern, and are designed to represent various desires and protections from the evil eye.
A spectacular modernist take on traditional Anatolian art, these earrings are crafted in a solid 18k gold and feature a gleaming liquid metal star/cross design with hallmarked 'URART 750' gold hooks. They come packaged in their original designer wooden jewelry box with informational paperwork and a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Turkey dated '1.12.1998'.
These earrings were greatly cared for and have remained in like-new condition.
