An eye-catching old Victorian 14k opal flower harem ring. This antique treasure was certainly a true beauty in its hay day. The focal point of this piece boasts 7 round cabochons arranged in pointed prong settings atop a solid hand-engraved rose gold band.
The cabochons have a greenish white hue and notable wear to their domed tops. A hardened film/gunk can be seen on the underside of the setting and is most likely why the stones look discolored. One of them has been replaced with a glass bead, and we're not certain whether the stones are natural and/or the originals stones at all.
The rose gold band has a shiny polished finish with minimal wear. A indistinguishable symbol mark is stamped on the inner band with no other notable hallmarks. We're not certain of its exact age or origin but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.
Despite its age and imperfections, the gestalt beauty as endured the test of time. In good/fair vintage with described wear/damage and discoloration.
