A breathtaking pink shell maiden cameo ring in 18k yellow gold. This elegant cameo ring features an unusual bubble-gum pink shell/coral with a high-relief carving in white. The maiden is adorned with a flower crown and a pearl strand necklace for a nice touch of added detail.
The large oval cameo is bezel in a polished yellow gold frame with beautiful flared/coiled embellishments on the shoulders. The ring is unsigned with no hallmark, but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.
Given the high-relief design, there is some minor wearing to the cameo face, but for the most part the detail is retained. Overall in good vintage condition with appropriate wear and discoloration.
