A charming 1970's platinum sapphire diamond halo engagement ring by McTeigue & Co. Features a brilliant blue sapphire mounted in a prong setting with a 10-diamond border The dazzling multi-stone arrangement reminds of a flower and sits atop a thin white gold band. The center stone measures 4.5mm in diameter the diamonds are approximately .01 CT each.
The inner band hallmarked engraved and dated with the original owners wedding details and has been hallmarked 'PLAT' with the makers mark 'MCT'.
