A rare and unique original vintage Underwriters' Laboratories Inc. folding Toucan Lamp. Of particular note on this piece is the very unique folding beak that houses the lightbulb. It was made in the exact style and design of the Old Timer Ferrari OTF Toucan lamp. This lamp is WORKING. It is actuated on/off by the original Leviton rotary knob. This would make a discerning addition to any collection or home. *AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON THIS LAMP*
We are not experts in the assessment or evaluation of electrical devices. We determined the condition of this piece to be functional based on the engagement of the on/off rotary knob with the light itself. The rotary knob actuates as it should, turning the lamp on and off. THE BULB IS INCLUDED WITH THIS PURCHASE.
Condition:
This lamp is in great condition overall for its age. The plastic body has no chips, cracks or major damages. It does display several very small and innocuous nics/scratches throughout but no major damages. The inside of the beak has a small burn mark from the bulb (see photos). The base and wiring are fully intact and stable. The cord, plug and rotary switch are original to the lamp. They are fully functional and display no signs of rips, tears or fraying to the wiring. Please look over all photos carefully and ask any questions that you may have. What you see pictured here is what you will be receiving.
