There is a hinged gold necklace bail at the top of the setting that has been marked 14K. This piece came to us from a well-traveled woman who collected exceptional jade jewelry and it has been well cared for. There is some dirt\/discoloration on the jade that we have left uncleaned to highlight its authenticity and age.
