The earrings boasts scalloped black frames with golden accents suspended from gold french hooks. Each earring holds a 5-pearl dangle in the center with inlaid black decoration. The brooch features a solid curved black panel with a graduated pearl embellishment set in a gold frame. An ornate filigree swirl links to the onyx brooch and holds a matching 5-pearl dangle. The brooch secures with a hand-made gold pin and safety catch. Both the earrings and the brooch are further decorated with black onyx beads gold gold domes.
Of note is the 2nd pearl on the top of the brooch, which has been replaced with a different half pearl. The replacement pearl is a warmer and lighter compared to the other pearls, which have a grayish tint, but it presence does not affect the overall look of the piece. Otherwise, all the seed pearls remain original and intact in their settings. The larger onyx frames remain solid with no notable imperfections, but some of the inlaid stone does has some wear. The inlay on the brooch dangle does has notable damage to the facade, but again nothing that affects the overall aesthetic of the piece.
This gorgeous set is sold together and would make an incredibly elegant addition to an antique jewelry collection. There are no notable hallmarks but the gold has been tested for authenticity. In overall great vintage condition with described imperfections.
