We have a a beautiful, Antique Original Maison Goyard for John Wanamaker New York Hard Sided Trunk Suitcase. Of particular note on this piece are the fully intact brass Goyard and Wanamaker Plates and still prominent Goyard Chevron Print of the suitcase. The classic monogram still pops as does the brown trim. It is clear that great attention to detail went into crafting this trunk. The original leather Goyard branded handle tray is also intact. Missing are the original keys for this piece. It is unlocked and open. This trunk is a classic, timeless and very rare piece. It would make a perfect addition to a discerning collection/home!

Condition:

This trunk is in fair condition overall. The interior and exterior display heavy signs/areas of wear including heavy scuffs, scratches, nail nicks, gouges and areas of corner discoloration, wear and scrapes (see photos). The body has no major damages such as holes or cracks to the wood walls. All of the stitching in and around this trunk remains mostly firm and intact. There are areas where it has come undone. All rivets and nails in this piece are firm and fully intact. The handle has completely fallen off and the leather rivet flaps have been unprofessionally reattached, it is included and inside of the trunk. The trunk has no malodor, however, it is dirty inside and should be carefully cleaned internally to remove the remaining dust and debris caught between the internal edges of the walls. The leather, canvas and wood are very dry and therefore should be handled with care/caution to prevent serious damaged to this piece. The hinges and lock all actuate and remain intact.
