Mid-Century Opal Diamond Cocktail Ring In 14K Yellow Gold

A gorgeous mid-century opal diamond cocktail ring in 14k yellow gold. This stunning ring boasts a 2.8 CT white opal cabochon prong set in a wide chiseled frame with a 6 diamond halo. The round brilliant diamonds weigh approximately .05 CT each and sit in individual prong settings along the chiseled gold frame. The setting sits atop a 3-wire split prong band with an open work gallery for illumination.
The ring is hallmarked '14k', and the gold has been tested for authenticity. There is notable discoloration to portions of the gold along the inner band and setting back. All the stones remain secure in their settings, and there is a notable hairline crack in the opal stone, but nothing that affects its structural integrity.
