A gorgeous 10k amethyst seed pearl watch/lorgnette chain lavaliere necklace in yellow gold. Features a lovely oval-cut amethyst teardrop dangle pendant with a seed pearl frame linked to a pocket watch chain with a diamond-shaped garnet accent starburst slide. The pendant, or watch fob, is linked to the chain via an old style pocket watch dog clip hallmarked '10k' on the inside.
The chain has been fitted with a modern 14k lobster clasp so the pocket watch chain can be worn as a necklace. All the pieces excluding the clasp are made with 10k and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.
There are no makers marks to confirm age or origin, but this is believed to be an antique piece. Given its probably age, there is some minor wear and discoloration, but overall this piece remains in great vintage condition .
