The back of the pin is hallmarked 'SILVER' and is probably an 800 silver composition commonly seen in vintage/antique Chinese exports. The enamel designs remain sharp and vibrant and the filigree remains intact. There is some discoloration to portions of the gilt overlay, but overall this fan brooch remains in great vintage condition.
