An incredibly robust blue gemstone pendant set in a stunning 18k yellow and rose gold ribbon/scroll setting. The piece was probably made in the mid 20th century as an antique reproduction with art deco influences. The ornate two-tone gold setting is finely crafted to seat the large oval gemstone, 1 1/4" at its longest and over a 1/2" deep. Both sides of the stone feature clean facets that dazzle when illuminated. An accessory like this is fi for royalty and would make an excellent formal accessory.

Given the size of the stone and setting, the piece is quite heavy, but it remains secure and solid. The pendant is suspended from matching two-tone bail fit for most small/medium chains. The back of the setting has been hallmarked '18K' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. In very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
