David Burliuk Unknown Title Original Oil Painting
one of a kind
Why we love it: A charming beach scene painting by the renowned Ukrainian artist and poet, David Burliuk (1882-1967). Often described as the “father of Russian Futurism,” David Burliuk was an artist central to the avant-garde. Born in Ukraine (then a part of the Russian Empire), Burliuk attended art schools in Kazan and Odesa. Burliuk captured the unfolding events and artistic styles of early-20th-century Europe in expressive, colorful works. We‘re incredibly lucky to have an original of his work.
