We have an extremely rare and unique Laurel Lamp Mfg. Co., Inc. MCM Yellow Tulip Mushroom Lamp designed by Bill Curry. This lamp was made by Laurel Mfg. as evidenced by the patent stamp under the lamp base, however, the manufacturer sticker inside of the lamp is missing. The lamp is fully functional and ready to use. Of particular note on this piece is the very unique and rare yellow color of the base and the beautiful warmth cast by light passing through the frosted glass mushroom shade. This is a truly unique MCM lamp and a discerning addition to any collection or home.

This lamp is in great shape overall. The frosted glass top has no chips or cracks and the base and wiring are fully intact and stable. The base of the lamp has a few minor scratches and scuffs, with some chipping of the paint. Also, a few minor scratches and scuffs in the outer finish of the lampshade are present but overall this piece is in a great state. Even the original green felt foot pads are intact! The most notable flaw in this piece is the missing turn knob switch that operates the light on/off directly under the shade. The original cord switch actuates this also and works but it is of note that the second switch is missing (see photos). Also, the original Laurel Mfg. the sticker that usually sits inside of the lamp base near the bulb socket is missing.
