A beautiful and classic Wallendorf Porcelain Figurine of a Nude Woman Atop a Gilded Globe. This stunning figurine features a hand painted soft matte finish to the body that adds a texture so elegantly reminiscent of human skin it is unbelievable. The stunning tiny detail in small features of the face like the lips and eyes is just amazing, even the fingertips and toes have indentations for the nails! Uniquely, there is a beautiful gilded globe at the base of the figurine. The base is signed Wallendorf 1764 HB and numerically stamped 1528 for either serialization or style number. This figurine is in excellent condition. Overall, it displays only minor scuffs and wear from age to the gilded globe and painted accents. The base is solid and sturdy.
